I was lucky enough to be in Stirling the week this came out, I went with my best bud Dr. Paul Adams M.D. and we watched the hell out of it. I got to see it again this weekend, and I have to say I appreciated it much more the second time around.
At first I rated it a 6.1 due to the sappy ending (from a solid 9.0), this second time the ending didn’t bug me so much, so I will stick with my original score of 9.0.
I say go see it, you don’t need to be a fan of the Alien movies to enjoy it, as long as you like space ships and very skinny girls getting hurt.
- It’s not perfect, no. But it’s goddamn fun.
- Feels more like a reset than a prequel.
